The Posh Knot's event planner and designer Johnique Woods sent this lush stylized shoot our way. Their obsession for both New York and Sex in the City movies were infused throughout the entire shoot and brought the East Coast right to Southern California.

"Right away San Diego’s Downtown nightlife was automatic when selecting a venue for the shoot, a love revealed itself when visiting Fluxx Nightclub a historic building located in the Gaslamp District San Diego for an industry event. There were so many elements to this venue that screamed upscale New York City. From the charismatic lighting, to the posh lounge furniture nestled in each corner, displayed everything we were looking for in a venue. An amazing venue paired with the amazing photographer Laura Christin to capture the vision, The Posh Knot was headed down a road to success.
Once the venue was selected everything else came in tow. All of the Sex in the City elements was incorporated from Carrie Bradshaw and Big to Carrie’s love for shoes Mahnolo Blanik and Jimmie Choo in the table names. A sleek color palette of black, white, silver and a pop of Tiffany Blue was carefully chosen. Johnique wanted to have gorgeous elements of candles, crystals, feathers, designer linens and beautiful white blooms infused throughout the venue for ambiance.
Concept Events Design provided stunning lounge furniture and Chivalry chairs for the tablescape from their Shabby Sheik Collection. Each table was set with Dove Rose Rouched Elegance linens, Tiffany Blue Satin Napkins, Diamond Encrusted Brooch, Silver Beads Napkin Rings and Luster Glass Charger Plates all provided by Concept Events Design. NicRoc print designs provided amazingly clean invitation, menu cards, escort cards and table names which were all inspired by Nichole Rocero of NicRoc Designs trip to NYC for NYE 2011. Floralicious Event Designs provided the stunning florals including the bridal bouquet and grooms button; in addition to all of the tables cape and centerpiece concepts. The show stopping cake with the cohesive match to the color palette of the shoot was provided by Hey there, Cupcake! "
The bridal gown is from Somsi Couture’s feature collection made exclusively for The Bustle, Del Mar. Bridal model is wearing The Tiffany: A fitted/trumpet gown with bias cut and a raw edge silk organza. Sweetheart neck line and chiffon draped waist with a sweep train and pleated hemline. The Groom’s Tuxedo is provided by A Better Deal Tuxedo La Jolla, CA.
